It's “Special Club” - a label you don't get, you earn -  awarded by one of the world’s most prestigious and strictest  of Champagne Houses among “grower champagnes "- ' le CLUB de Trésors'. 

Know it's the highest recognition a Grower Champagne can achieve.

CONFESSION:

When I got my hands on this 'sold out across the globe' treasure, I did what any curious collector would do... I googled it. (Ok, I am not proud, but I am glad I did, because...) there's other Salmon labels out there in the champagne universe. and they're good...  'headline making' kind of good. But not this 'special club' level good.  

THIS MAISON SALMON is far from poser champagne.  It's a grower champagne with a pedigree taste and a connoisseur appreciation. 

This gorgeous, zero-dosage "Special Club Meunier 2015"  is one of only two Meunier producers in the "CLUB", made from 70% Pinot Meunier and 30% Chardonnay. Pinot Meunier is not common, but it's a quiet workhorse in Champagne, giving life and great complexity to every sip, balanced by a nice dose of freshness and minerality, for a long, lingering finish

With only 167 cases produced and less than 10% sold in the US, I can understand why it's sold out everywhere... except here at OCEANOS... (You know me! If it's exceptional, I will find it)
