WHAT TOGETHERNESS SHOULD FEEL LIKE

OCEANOS GREEK EASTER PASCHA'N

In case you've forgotten,
It’s...
sitting at a table and not looking at our phones...
passing of plates instead of messages...
laughing without checking the time. It’s “getting together”
instead of… getting it over with.

That's right!
It's GREEK EASTER SUNDAY at OCEANOS

and that means ...

Pete’s bringing us the timeless tradition of the

For those who’ve shared this legendary event with us over the years,
you know firsthand... this is not just another ordinary Easter dinner.
This is  a 40 year tradition of Pete’s

a return to his deep-rooted heritage and, more so,
a return for us

... to family
the kind you came with… and the kind you meet.

... to food
made slowly, meant to be savoured.

... to friendships
that grow deeper with every glass shared.

... to filoxenia
the Greek art of making you feel that you belong.

And it’s all centred around Pete’s time-honoured traditional feast -
his signature ‘meat of the gods’ - flame-kissed Greek lamb, that
he is marinating in garlic, rosemary, thyme, and olive oil at this very moment.
Then slow-cooking for 16 hours to a ‘melt-in-your-mouth’ perfection
to serve all who gather this Sunday.

plus ...

At the crack of dawn this Sunday,
Pete will be in the kitchen making the bread.

Pete kneads, folds and rolls dozens of these glorious,
doughy, sweet braided mounds every Greek Easter.

It’s his way of welcoming you,
straight from the oven to your table for you to share.
The Greeks call this pure bread  ‘tsoureki’, but for us
gathered around the table this Sunday, it’s that rare
(and wonderful) experience of ‘breaking bread’.

and the most beautiful part of this Sunday’s Pascha?
